Early in his career, Jarrett enjoyed a five-year tenure as Director and Senior Creative Producer on The Crawlspace, TVOKids' live daily programming block. Through his boutique production company Miracle Pictures, Jarrett created original multiplatform content, directed and produced television series for Discovery Kids, CBC and APTN, and created online experiences for blue chip brands. In 2007 Jarrett co-founded Smokebomb Entertainment, which became one of Canada's leading digital content companies, and was acquired by Shaftesbury Films.
Daniel is an International Emmy®-nominated producer, with over 15 years experience in television and digital media production having produced dozens of critically acclaimed TV and Digital Media properties. As co-CEO of Digital Howard, Daniel leads the creative process for all of Digital Howard's properties and oversees all aspects of financing and production from development through project launch and distribution. Daniel currently serves as a board member of Interactive Ontario and is a frequently sought-out speaker at international industry events and conferences including Digital Hollywood, the Banff World Television Festival, Next Media, X-Summit, the CMPA Primetime conference, WIFT Conference, and others. In 2007 Daniel co-founded Smokebomb Entertainment, which quickly became one of Canada's leading digital content companies, subsequently acquired by Shaftesbury Films.
Alex's career spans over 25 years in Film, Television and Digital Media. In 2015, Alex joined Digital Howard, leading digital media and 360 Production house as their Chief Operating Officer, producing the cutting edge AR/VR Adventure game Terracosm and CSA winning Wynonna Earp Digital as well as the many innovative projects coming out of Digital Howard. Previously, Alex spent 5 years in the role of Executive in Charge of Production for First Generation Films; also acting as Head of Business Affairs and Executive Producer on several films including LIFE, REGRESSION and THE WHISTLEBLOWER. Other organizations on her resume include the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Telefilm Canada, the CMF and the Motion Picture Bond Company. Alex also sits on both the WIFT-Toronto and the WIFT-Toronto Foundation Board of Directors.
Samantha began as an Intern at Digital Howard, but quickly took on a variety of roles within the company; from Creative Development, Coordinator, Researcher, Asset Manager, to Internal Project Manager. Samantha has worked on several convergent properties including; Spin Off 360 (CHCH), Gone South Digital (SuperChannel), The Project Live Aftershow (OLN & CityTV), Painted Land Discovery Experience (TVO), Napkin Man (CBCKids), Wynonna Earp Storyverse (CHCH & Syfy), and Terracosm (DH Original Property). She is eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in the digital world and beyond.
Emily has an extensive background in film and television production, as well as business affairs, and has enjoyed working in Digital Media since 2015. As Project Coordinator at Digital Howard, she provides administrative support on all fronts, oversees funding and tax credit applications, and makes sure there is always toilet paper. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Director, Production Coordinator and Production Manager on a variety of projects, ranging from short films and web series to network TV and Hollywood Blockbuster feature films. In 2014, she joined First Generation Films as Business Affairs Associate and discovered an entirely different side of the industry. Selected film and TV credits include Remedy (Season 2), Hannibal (Season 3), Regression (Dir. Alejandro Amenabar), and Life (Dir. Anton Corbijn).
